Speaking of light, the FSC®-certified 3D thermopolymer Starship Core™, made from ultra-light post-consumer recycled plastic and the super-light Skin™ topsheet, ensures a perfect balance of performance and weight. The Alpine V1 profile transforms it into the ultimate all-mountain weapon for experts, offering the best edge hold while allowing you to glide over powder as light as a feather. The Mega Death is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100 % clean energy.Riding styleThis board is just right for all-mountain junkies with expert skills. The Mega Death offers a highly reactive ride, is incredibly light and can cope with any terrain. ShapeThe directional shape means the nose is slightly longer than the tail, and the bindings and sidecut are slightly offset to the back. Nevertheless, the snowboard remains stable at higher speeds and offers plenty of float in powder.ProfileThe Alpine V1 Profile features a camber between the bindings, a large rocker section in the nose, and a smaller rocker in the tail. This combination ensures exceptional manoeuvrability and float in powder while maintaining a strong edge hold and fast power transmission thanks to the camber.FlexThe medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.ConstructionThe FSC® certified Starship Thermopolymer Core™ 3D is produced using an advanced electronic sorting system. Through this system, premium poplars can be sorted with reforestation poplars according to weight and grain. This procedure ensures constant flex. Adding bonded, recycled thermopolymer channels turns the Starship Core™ into an advanced hybrid core that gives you incredible pop. Pure Megakarbon™ is a wide carbon band on the top and bottom of the wood core. It offers 4 times the power and response of Capita's previous carbon additives. The sintered Megadrive™ base is ultra-fast and hard and absorbs a lot of wax for more durability and speed.
